This concept is new to some in the Model A community and we hope to have it catch on here in California.  This is different than what we are used to for the MAFCA and MARC meets.  There is no judging, no seminars, no goody bags, just plain good ole fun with good people.   The cost of the event will cover all charges for DeLeveaga Park rental for the 4 days we need catered, Nick's restaurant buffet lunch (very nice buffet) is near Daly City a beautiful photo op for the A's overlooking the ocean, we will travel through the lush Salinas River Valley, Monterey, San Juan Bautista, Watsonville, & Felton, donations to La Soledad Mission, AG center, and Elk Horn Slough, Steinbeck Museum, all parking costs, & train ride at Roaring Camp.   4 dinners, 1 buffett lunch paid and 2 bag lunches.  These lunches will not be home made this is a first class event.  The desserts are to die for if you have not had a local Gizdich pie and Marianni ice cream get ready it's the best. There are 5 days of social hours; one will be the breakfast in Monterey hosted by the GRAMPA A's. The Delta A's are hosting evening social hours. Most of the funds will be spent for you to have fun at the event and minimum costs have been calculated in for administrative costs flyer, mailings, postage, advertising, etc. We are including in each application a special made license plate for your vehicle bumper, this license plate looks like the real thing some embossing around the plate, it is made out of metal.  You will also receive an inscribed pin on name tag not the lanyards we are used to getting at the meets. This will allow you to be recognized as a paid participant for entrance to events and meals.  Your map and guide will have daily directions for the tours, the roads are perfect for Model A's, most back roads and very little freeway driving. Rest stops are within certain time constraints.  This time of year is beautiful the leaves are starting to fall and the weather is not to hot not to cold. If you read John's testimonial on the bottom of the application he hit the nail on the head about this type of touring.  We look forward to the possibility of you joining us.   PS: The hotels we have listed range from $55.00 a night to $150.00 a night each hotel has a negotiated rate for the week, we have tried to keep the costs down to allow everyone to come.  The beach boardwalk and wharf are about a block away from all hotels and within walking distance for all.  Your proof of registration will be sent to you and the information to contact the hotels for reservations. Happy Model A'ing
