A lot of Model A's lined up in their own area at the event
I think there must have been 40 to 50 Model A's
Your Editor's car was there!
Pat Lovejoy was there with his nice woody wagon
Another really nice woody
How about a vintage fire truck?
Or a Stanley Steamer?
Let's see - 7 knobs to control the steam?
Your editor had the opportunity to attend the 10th annual Antique Autos in History Park event on September 12 (with my car!). I've wanted to attend before, but this was the first year that my car was up to it. I have been to the History Park before, but not to this event. We got there early, and got a good parking spot for the Model A. It wasn't long, however, before many other cars began to arrive. I was amazed at the number of Model A's. I didn't count them, but I think there were at least 40, maybe more. We were handed free tote bags and signage for the windshields as we came in and directed to our parking area by a very efficient staff. There were Model T's everywhere, plus many other marques both common and rare. There were activities going on everywhere from a period dance exhibition to blacksmith and steam car demos plus live music and people in authentic period costumes. Of course, this all took place in History Park and the usual exhibits were open for inspection.
The Model T Club did a great job and the day was extremely enjoyable.
