| SVMARC Holiday Party and Train Ride |
December 12th, 2010 we celebrated together at Bosco's in Sunol. 15 members attended, 4 Model A's, moderns and one Ferrari! Bill Rose & the Alley's had their A's with decorations and Christmas lights. We ran into some people that are in another Model A club, they enjoyed seeing all our A's. We filled the table in the restaurant and had a nice dinner with calamari, garlic bread, and zucchini sticks to start us off. Dessert was povided and donated by Bill Rose. He brought homemade apricot pies and freshly made ice cream from Livermore, black walnut and vanilla. Board members who attended were sworn in for the 2011 year, Ewart Speer, Fast Eddie, Bill Rose, Melvin Kruescke, Bill Alley, and Lauren Alley, . After dinner we walked across the street to the Sunol Train station. The train was decorated in lights from the engine to the caboose inside and out was truly a beautiful site. Pat Lovejoy & Reiko scoped out the train and told us where they thought it best for us to sit in the comfortable seats. We followed and had a great ride. The train was completely decorated for Christmas, some opted during the ride to move and sit in the open cars to get a better look at the lights and views. Santa went through the train passing out candy canes to the riders and wishing all a Merry Christmas. The event was very nice, relaxing, and enjoyable to spend time with such a nice group of people.
