Visible Vintage Autos, LLC

Our company concept is “Be Seen, Be Safe”  - therefore, improving the visibility of our vehicles greatly enhances our safety and protects our investment in our vehicles.  As a Model A owner myself, I didn’t want to cheapen the look of vehicle in order to make it more visible, however,  I certainly wanted to be seen – especially at dusk or at night.  Most drivers today do not recognize a vintage auto on the road until they are upon them – and usually over taking the vehicle at a much faster speed.  This is primarily due to a single (possibly two) 6 volt tail light that just doesn’t compare to the lighting scheme of a modern car.

After 14 months of extensive work and pattern making, etc., we have built a completely new steering box for the '28-'31 Model A's. We copied the '56 pickup steering box and added many more modern features.

The '53-'56 pickup steering box, with it's 17 to 1 ratio, was designed to steer a loaded pickup truck, weighing as much as 5800 lbs. A Model A, weighing 1/3 as much, will steer like power steering!
